The publisher of these education magazines contacted me in February 2020 to make a cover for their March issue showing Hernán Cortés and Moctezuma looking at each other and an interior illustration for the article on the Spanish conquest of Mexico.
I loved being able to make these illustrations because the historical period of the discovery of America and the conquest of Mexico by Hernán Cortés is something that has always fascinated me.
